Academic Technology offers a number of free hands-on sessions to allow faculty and instructional staff to learn more about the University’s online e-learning system, Learn@UW.

Location
All sessions take place in the Digital Media Center Classroom, room 1240 Biotechnology Center (425 Henry Mall, Madison, WI 53706).
Who is eligible to attend?
Faculty, instructors, and instructional support staff using Learn@UW for academic purposes.
To Register
Registration is required, as seating is limited. Registration for both days is strongly suggested.

Introduction to Learn@UW
This introductory session will help you to learn how effectively design a course in Learn@UW. Learn pedagogical strategies to using Learn@UW’s content and news tools for delivering course materials to your students.

Introduction to Quizzing and Gradebook
Learn about some of Learn@UW's other features to support evaluation-based courses. Using the quizzing and grading tools will be just some of the ways to enhance your Learn@UW course. Those with Learn@UW experience are welcome to take this course.

What’s New in Learn@UW
New features and changes will be introduced in Learn@UW in late May 2008. This presentation, designed for those who have previously used Learn@UW, provides faculty and staff with an overview of these updates. No registration required.
