Academic Technology provides free training to faculty and staff who support the creation of instruction materials used in a UW-Madison timetable course. Registration is required and space is limited so please register promptly. Each semester the following series and workshops are offered.

Presentation Technology Series
This series offers hands-on classes focused on creating and using presentation technologies effectively in the classroom, including the various methods of delivering presentation materials to students.

Web Development Series
This series offers hands-on classes focused on building accessible & effective Web sites for instruction. It covers how to plan & organize a site, create graphics & navigation, create HTML content, & site maintenance.

Learn@UW Skill Sessions
These hands-on sessions allow faculty and instructional staff to learn more about the University’s new course management system, Learn@UW, which has replaced WebCT for Fall 2004.

Audio Video Series
The Audio & Video Series focused on highlighting ways of integrating multimedia into instruction and delivering that content to students. This series is now defunct due to low enrollment. If you would like a consult on audio or video technologies, please e-mail us.
