Bio

John Thomson is a PhD candidate in the UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and became an Instructional Technology Consultant in 2009 after being a project assistant with LTDE since 2003. His academic interests are in Communication law and policy, with emphases in technology and copyright.

While working at LTDE, John has developed his skills and interest in learning technology. He is currently involved in a number of projects with the University’s course management system (Learn@UW), Drupal website development,  and LTDE’s courses on web development and multimedia.
