Description : The UW-Madison Libraries provide course related services to support teaching and learning activities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Materials such as books, articles, videos, solution sets, and exams that an instructor has selected for use by students enrolled in a specific course are placed "on reserve" at the UW-Madison Libraries. Classlists
Link: https://classlists.wisc.edu/ Classlist is an automated no-charge system that allows instructors to have email distribution lists generated based upon their course enrollment. The Classlist system is based entirely on authentication using your NetID and password. The Classlist system automatically updates the email distribution lists with Registrar data six times a day, seven days a week, throughout the semester. MyWebSpace
Link: http://mywebspace.wisc.edu/ MyWebSpace has new features which can facilitate easy communication with students. A wiki allows many users to edit a common document, and a dropbox allows instructors to create folders where students can deposit files but not see those of their peers. Instructors of timetable courses can request group folders for their class with preloaded course rosters. How do I put a powerpoint with voice online?
Authoring Software
There are many authoring software solutions that can synchronize Powerpoint with your recorded voice. Some are more expensive, some are easier to use, and some are better supported on campus. For example, Adobe Captivate is one of the most powerful solutions, but it has a higher learning curve. It can be purchased from the DoIT Tech Store and it is supported through in-class training as well as online tutorials.
