DCF Needs Analysis
The purpose of this project was to define the workflow needs and technical requirements for the implementation of a statewide Learning Management System for the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Learning Solutions used a business analysis approach to meet this purpose. This project consisted of multiple phases including researching and documenting key features and options for LMS's, researching and documenting LMS usage at other WI state agencies, researching and documenting LMS usage of other states' child welfare programs, defining the needs of DCF partnerships, and defining the needs of DCF supervisors, case workers and trainers. As a result of this project, Learning Solutions provided a summary of how LMS's are being used in Wisconsin state agencies and other child welfare departments across the country and a functional requirements document outlining the workflow needs and technical requirements for the implementation of a LMS.
