Engage Awards*
Engage is a DoIT Academic Technology program that seeks to transform teaching and learning through technology. If you have an innovative idea for building an instructional technology tool, Engage can give you the resources to help bring that idea to fruition. Engage also works with faculty and instructional staff on campus to help you adapt previously created tools and technologies for use in teaching.
Grants Information Center at Memorial Library*
This Center provides an authoritative source of information on foundation and corporate giving for nonprofit organizations. This is an authoritative source of information on scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other funding opportunities for individuals. It also holds a collection of books, periodicals, pamphlets and a sampling of videos on fund raising, proposal writing, and philanthropy.
Morgridge Center for Public Service*
The Morgridge Center for Public Service advances the Wisconsin Idea by promoting civic engagement, strengthening teaching and learning, and building collaborative partnerships through public service, service-learning, and community-based research.
Professional Development and Recognition Committee (PDRC)*
This website has a list of Awards and Grant Opportunities and links to various web pages. A standing committee of the UW-Madison Academic Staff Assembly the PDRC promotes the concept of professional development and recognition for academic staff; works with the administration to explore and develop programs to enhance the professional skills and abilities of academic staff; makes recommendations regarding the review of and changes to academic staff professional development guidelines; works with the administration, the UW Foundation and the faculty to locate or create funding resources for professional development

Office of Professional and Instructional Development*
OPID is particularly interested in proposals that further explore topics of recent OPID conferences or that allow faculty to share results of Undergraduate Teaching and Learning Grant-funded projects with colleagues. Priority will also be given to proposals related to the promoting of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and the improvement of teaching and student learning, as opposed to proposals related to course and curriculum development.

Professional Development in Instructional Technology for Teachers*
There will not be a traditional call for proposals for the 03-04 academic year. This grant program has been reformulated and will have a new focus designed to stimulate campus-based grants around the implementation of Wisconsin Public Instruction rule #34 (PI-34). Information about this grant opportunity will be out in Fall '03.
