Rates

Because we're a cost recovery unit, we need to charge for our services.  However, our rates are flexible and reasonable, ranging from $24-$80 an hour, depending on the type of work that needs to be done. We strive to keep costs down. Rates for high-level educational technology and programming services are in line with other campus providers.

Per Hour (time and materials)   Fixed Price

In this type of contract, we bill you on an hourly basis. This rate varies depending on the kind of service provided and the level of consulting. Here are some hourly rates:

  • Initial consultation and estimate: FREE
  • Project Management: $60-$75/hr
  • E-learning Design: $60-$80/hr
  • Graphic Design: $55/hr
  • Webpage Design: $55/hr
  • Programming: $65-$75/hr
  • Technical Consulting: $75/hr
  • Digital Media Services: $65-$80/hr
  • Evaluation: $75/hr

 

If you have a limited budget, we'll do everything we can to work within that budget. Some rough estimates of typical fixed-price contracts include:

  • Initial consultation and estimate: FREE
  • Simple website design and development (no interactivity): $300 to $1000
  • Interactive instructional website development: $1,000 and up
  • Proof-of-concept development of a website or entire course: $200 to $6000
