Additional Services

Are you looking to have someone help teach your students about a particular technology that you use in your course? Maybe you'd like to use MyWebSpace or Learn@UW. Would like your students to have more training on how to use this technology? Perhaps you are using Excel spreadsheets or would like to teach your students how to use Word for formatting papers. If your students need proficiency in a specific application to carry out class projects, DoIT's Software Training for Students (STS) is just for you!

Student instructors can:

  • tailor training content to address your teaching objectives,
  • conduct training directly in your classroom either during class or at another time,
  • help you find training space if you have none available,
  • offer training in programs like, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, and many more

And best of all, there is no charge for this service as long as registered UW-Madison students are the primary learners.
